Ireckon celebrated becoming a Champion Business Sponsor for Forest Lake High School at a recent Year 10, 11 and 12 school assembly.

 
The Champion Business Sponsorship is a project set up by the Beacon Foundation – a not-for-profit whose aim is to ensure each young person develops an independent will to achieve personal success for themselves and their community. The project has been designed to support its Year 10 Leadership Program – Vision.

As a Champion Business Sponsor for Forest Lake’s Year 10 Leadership Group, Ireckon are providing support that enables the Group to continue to develop and implement their plans throughout the rest of the year.

The ceremony was attended by our CEO, Darryl King, and General Manager, Narelle Richardson, who met the 18 strong leadership group and heard all about the great work they’ve done to date, including organizing industry visits and conferences between other “Beacon” schools, and the future plans they have as a group.

The group also talked about the skills they were learning along the way, such as leadership skills, communication, networking and teamwork.

Ireckon are proud to be able to offer support for such a fantastic program that is helping to shape and develop our future leaders.

As a company we have made it part of our company mission to support the youth of today as they will be the decision makers of tomorrow. We believe the programs developed by the Beacon Foundation and run throughout schools around Australia are a perfect fit for what we are hoping to achieve by supporting the youth of today.
